Community Action Suffolk and ISCRE have teamed up to offer an online (ZOOM) event aimed at people working on the ground, making a difference and responding to local need. This event gives you the opportunity to share your journey, your plans and your ambitions. Meet likeminded people and chat with organisations about their challenges and successes during the Pandemic and how to take the next steps on your journey. There will be a focus on how to access funding, the successes of working with volunteers during Covid, how to include long-term planning as part of your process and who else you can link with / work with to help you with this.
Groups attending this event will go away with a better understanding of where they can get support, and how other similar groups have tackled issues such as funding, how to form and run a community group, and what you can do to address the issues and barriers that you experience. It is also an opportunity to share what support you want from other organisations.
